setting up _1101 SETTING UPBEFORE USING ICEMAKERremove- Hold the handle as shown infigure1.- Slightly pull up the bottom part.- Take out the ice bucket slowly.Install- Assemble it in the reverse orderof disassembly.- Push the bucket in firmly untilyou hear a clicking sound.- When the bucket does not fit intoits place, turn the gear handleon its back by 90 degrees andreinstall it again as shown infigure 2.Before calling service- Any sounds you hear whenthe ice maker dumps ice intothe bucket are part of normaloperation.- Not dispensing ice for longperiods may cause ice clumpsin the ice bucket. Remove theremaining ice and empty thebucket.- When ice does not come out, check the ice stuckin the chute and remove it.- When Ice Off blinks on the display panel,reinsert the bucket and/or make sure it’sinstalled properly.- When the door is open, the Ice and waterdispenser do not work.- If you close the door hard, it may cause waterspilling over the ice maker.- To prevent dropping the ice bucket, use bothhands when removing it.- To prevent injury, be sure to clean up any ice orwater that may have dropped on the floor.- Do not let the children hang on the ice dispenseror on the bucket. They may get hurt.- Be sure not to put your hand or any object into theice chute. It may cause personal injury or damagemechanical parts.Removing residual matter inside the watersupply line after installing filter.1. Turn ON the main water supply.2. Press the Water button and push the DispenserLever.3. Flush 1 gallons of water through the filter beforeuse. (Flush approximately 6 minutes.) This willclean the water supply system and remove airfrom the lines.4. Additional flushing may be required in somehouseholds.5. Open the refrigerator door and make sure thereare no water leaks coming from the water filter.A newly installed water filter cartridge maycause water to briefly spurt from the waterdispenser. This is due to air getting into theline. It should pose no problem to operation.Check the amount of water supplied to the icetray.1. Lift up the icemaker cover and gently pull it out.2. When you press the Test button for 3 seconds,the ice cube container is filled with water from thewater supply tap. Check to make sure the amountof water is correct (see the illustration below). If thewater level is too low, the ice cubes will be small.This is a water pressure problem from within themain water pipes, not the refrigerator.- It will take a few minutes to reach the amountof water you want.- Do not press the test button continuously whenthe tray is filled with ice or water.
