08_ setting up2. Remove two water lines (White one is for waterand the other one is for ice) by pressing thecoupler ( 1 ) and pulling the water line ( 2 ) away.Reattaching the Water Supply Line1. The Water Line must be fully inserted to themarked line to prevent water leakage from thedispenser.2. Insert the 2 clips in the install pack and checkthat each clip holds the line fi rmly.Do not cut the water line. Gently separate itfrom the coupler.Removing the freezer doorA few things to mention first.• Make sure that you lift the door straight up so thehinges are not bent or broken.• Be careful not to pinch the water tubing and wireharness on the door.• Place doors on a protected surface to preventscratching or damage.SETTING UP THEREFRIGERATORNow that you have your new Refrigerator installed inplace, you are ready to set up and enjoy the featuresand functions of the appliance. By completing thefollowing steps, your Refrigerator should be fullyoperational. If not, fi rst check the power supply andelectricity source or try the troubleshooting sectionat the back of this user’s guide. If you have anyfurther questions, contact your Samsung Electronicsservice center.1. Place the Refrigerator in an appropriate locationwith reasonable clearance between the wall andthe Refrigerator. Set the Temperature control to the coldesttemperature and wait for an hour. The Freezerwill get slightly chilled and the motor will runsmoothly.4. After powering the Refrigerator, it will take a fewhours to reach the appropriate temperature.
