26_ operatingFor a replacement water fi lter, you can visityour local home Improvement center orcontact the Samsung Parts distributor.To order more water fi lter cartridges,contact your authorized Samsung dealer.Be sure the replacement water fi lter hasthe SAMSUNG logo on the box and on thewater fi lter.Removing any residual matter insidethe water supply line after installingthe water filter.1. Turn ON the main watersupply and supply waterfrom water supply line.2. Run water through thedispenser until the waterruns clear (approx. 6 to 7minutes). This will cleanthe water supply system and remove air fromthe lines.3. Additional fl ushing may be required in somehouseholds.4. Open the Refrigerator door and make surethere are no water leaks coming from thewater fi lter.Be sure to fl ush the dispenser thoroughly,otherwise water may drip from thedispenser.This means that there is still air in the line.Reverse Osmosis Water SupplyIMPORTANT:The pressure of the water supply coming out of areverse osmosis system going to the water inletvalve of the refrigerator needs to be between 35and 120 psi (241 and 827 kPa).If a reverse osmosis water fi ltration system isconnected to your cold water supply, the waterpressure to the reverse osmosis system needs tobe a minimum of 40 to 60 psi (276 to 414 kPa.) Ifthe water pressure to the reverse osmosis systemis less than 40 to 60 psi (276 to 414 kPa):• Check to see whether the sediment fi lter in thereverse osmosis system is blocked. Replacethe fi lter if necessary.• Allow the storage tank on the reverse osmosissystem to refi ll after heavy usage.• If your refrigerator has a water fi lter, it mayfurther reduce the water pressure when usedin conjunction with a reverse osmosis system.Remove the water fi lter.If you have questions about your water pressure,call a licensed, qualifi ed plumber.CONTROLLING THETEMPERATUREBasic temperature of Freezer andfridge compartmentsThe basic and recommended temperatures of theFreezer and Fridge compartments are -19 °C and3 °C respectively.If the temperature of the Freezer and Fridgecompartments are too high or low, adjust thetemperature manually.Controlling the FreezertemperatureRecommend Temp (Freezer) : -19 °CRecommend Temp (Freezer) : -19 °CThe Freezer temperature can be set between-23°C and -15 °C to suit your particular needs.Press the Freezer button repeatedly until thedesired temperature is shown in the temperaturedisplay. The temperature will change by 1 °C witheach press. See below.Centigrade : -19 °C ➞ -20 °C ➞ -21 °C ➞ -22 °C➞ -23 °C ➞ -15 °C ➞ -16 °C ➞ -17 °C ➞ -18 °C➞ -19 °C.Keep in mind that foods like ice cream may meltat -15.5 °C.
