English - 24MAC Address Display ModeThis function displays the MAC address of theWi-Fi module on the refrigerator display.The refrigerator displays the MAC address of theWi-Fi module for 1 minute.1. Press and hold the Power Freeze and EnergySaver buttons at the same time for 3 seconds.2. A Buzzer sounds. Four of the twelve Macaddress of the Wi-Fi module are displayedin turns in the freezer and fridge temperaturedisplays for 1 minute. For example, if the Wi-Fimodule’s MAC address is “11-22-33-44-55-66”, the MAC address is displayed as follows:“11 22” → “33 44” → “55 66” → ---- → “11 22”for 1 minute.3. After 1 minute, the display returns to the normalstate and the Buzzer sounds again.If the Mac addresses are not available orthere is no Wi-Fi module, `----’ is displayedon the freezer and fridge temperaturedisplays.SMART GRID Function(Demand Response)When the refrigerator operates in SMARTGRID (Demand Response) mode, the E-SmartRefrigerator function can control energy usageor delay the operation of some functions to savemoney when energy prices or demand are thehighest.You can deactivate the SMART GRID(Demand Response) function at anytime.(Using the Override On/Off function)To use the SMART GRID (DemandResponse) function, you need aseparate contract with your utilitycompany.Using the SMART GRID (DemandResponse) FunctionThis feature monitors energy prices and demandinformation from your utility company and sendsnotifications to the refrigerator to run high energy-consuming tasks during off-peak times whenelectricity costs and demand are lower.If the refrigerator receives a control signal fromthe Utility Company, the refrigerator will displaythe DAL (L3) ~ TALR (L4) levels on the refrigeratordisplay and control the power consumptionaccording to the level.[Exception condition] The DAL and TALR controlsignals from an utility company work as long asproduct performance is maintained.If the refrigerator receives the SMART GRID(Demand Response) signal (DAL or TALR), therefrigerator will operate in Delay Appliance Load(Display: L3) or Temporary Appliance LoadReduction (Display: L4) mode.DA68-02966A-00.indb 24 2013. 12. 10. �� 2:44
