Status Bar Icons provide information about yourphone’s status and options, such as signalstrength, roaming, ringer setting, messaging, andbattery charge.3. Display Screen displays all the information neededto operate your phone, such as the call status, theContacts list, the date and time, and the signal andbattery strength.4. Navigation Key (similar to an optical joystick) usestouch to scroll through the phone’s menu options.Pressing it accepts an onscreen selection.5. Softkeys Portrait Mode let you select left and rightsoftkey actions or menu items corresponding tothe bottom left and bottom right lines on theDisplay Screen when the phone is in portrait mode.6. SPEAKER Key lets you place or receive calls inspeakerphone mode.7. TALK Key ( ) allows you to place or receivecalls, answer Call Waiting, use 3-Way Calling, oractivate Voice Dial.8. Keypad lets you enter numbers, letters, andcharacters, and navigate within menus. Press andhold keys for speed dialing.9. Microphone allows other callers to hear you clearlywhen you are speaking to them.10. END/POWER Key ( ) lets you turn the phone onor off, end a call, or return to standby mode. Whilein the main menu, it returns the phone to standbymode and cancels your input. When you receivean incoming call, press to enter silent mode andmute the ringer.11. BACK/Clear Key deletes characters from thedisplay in text entry mode. When in a menu,pressing the Back key ( ) returns you to theprevious menu. This key also allows you to returnto the previous screen in a data session.12.
