Messaging 71Social NetworksUse the Social Networks feature to update Facebook orTwitter, or access the mobile Facebook or Twitter sites.Setting up Your Phone with Facebook or TwitterSet up your phone to access Facebook and Twitter to shareposts, photos and links.You can activate your phone with your Facebook or Twitteraccount’s mobile account settings. Activating allows the sitesto send text messages to your phone, so you can receivenotifications and status updates, and allows you to updateyour status from your phone.From your account settings, follow the instructions in theMobile area to complete your phone registration. You canalso initiate registration from your phone, to receive aconfirmation code you can enter in the Mobile settings.Initiating registration from your phone1. From the Home screen, press the Messaging Key➔ Social Networks ➔ Update Status.2. Enter text, then press SEND.3. Select sites to update. Use the Directional Key tohighlight sites, then press MARK, or press theRight Soft Key Mark All to select Facebook andTwitter. Once you make selections, these site(s) will beupdated automatically each time you use UpdateStatus. If you choose Always ask before update, yourphone will prompt you to choose site(s) each time youuse Update Status.4. The site(s) will send a text message to your phone withinformation about registration. Follow the instructionsto complete registration.
