5.3Additional featuresSelectable optionsThese instructions assume that you have followed the steps on page 5.2under ‘Setting an option’ and the machine is prompting you to change oneof the options listed here.• LANGUAGE — You can select the display language from English,German, French, Italian and Spanish.• SEND FROM MEMORY — This feature enables all transmissiondocuments to be automatically scanned into the memory beforetransmission.Select ON to turn this feature on.Select OFF to turn this feature off.• SENDING CONFIRM — A confirmation report shows whether thetransmission was successful or not, how many pages were sent, etc.Select ON to print a confirmation report automatically each time yousend a fax.Select OFF to turn this feature off.Select ERROR to print only when an error occurs and the transmissionwas not successful.• FAX PAPER SIZE — Select the paper size you will use for the recordingpaper. LETTER, A4 and LEGAL size are available.• TONER SAVE MODE — You can preserve the toner supply with thismode.Select ON to turn this feature on. The machine prints documents usingless toner. The print quality may be reduced.Select OFF to turn this feature off.• POWER SAVE MODE — The power saving menu item lets you reducepower usage when the printer is idle.Select the desired time to turn this feature on. The time you choosedetermines the length of time the printer waits after a job is printedbefore it switches to a reduced power state.Select OFF to turn this feature off. It keeps the printer ready to printwith minimum warm-up time.
