Options During a Call59Options During a CallYour phone provides a number of control functionsthat you can use during a call.Putting a call on HoldYou can place the current call on hold whenever youwant. You can make another call while you have acall in progress if your network supports this service.To place a call on hold, simply press the Hold soft key.You can reactivate the call whenever you want, bypressing the Unhold soft key.To make a call while you have a call in progress:1. Put the current call on hold by pressing the Holdsoft key.2. Enter the phone number that you wish to dial orlook it up in Phone Book.For details about searching for a number in Phone Book,see page 39.3. Press the key to dial the second call.Switching Between Calls on HoldWhen you have an active call and a call on hold,you may switch between the two calls, changing theone on hold to active and placing the other on hold.To switch between the two calls, simply press theSwap soft key.
