81Sound settingsYou can use the Sound Settings feature tocustomize various settings, such as the:• ring melody, volume, and type.• sounds made when you press a key, receive amessage, open/close the folder, or switch on/offyour phone.• alert tone made every minute during a call, whenyou make an error, or when your call is connectedto the system.Note: When the phone is in Silent mode (seepage 29), you cannot change the soundsettings.Ringtone (Menu 4.1)This menu allows you to select a ring melody.You can choose between many different melodies. Ifyou have downloaded sounds from the Internet orthe optional EasyGPRS program, you can use themin this menu.Ring volume (Menu 4.2)This menu allows you to adjust the ring volume toone of five levels.Use the Up and Down keys or the Volume keys onthe left side of the phone to increase or decreasethe volume.
