Transferring Files44Note: To receive data via Bluetooth, your phone’s Bluetooth feature must be active. For moreinformation on activating Bluetooth on your phone, see “Activation” on page 169.5. Phone Explorer displays the folders on your phone at the top left of thescreen, folders on your PC at the bottom left and contents of thehighlighted folder on the right side. Navigate to the folder(s) containingthe files you wish to transfer. You can drag and drop files between thecomputer and phone or microSD card folders.Note: The Downloaded Graphics, Downloaded Videos, Music and Downloaded Ringtonesfolders on your phone will only accept compatible file formats -- for example, music (.mp3) filesmust be placed in the Music folder, photo (.jpg) files in the Graphics folder. The Other files folderaccepts file formats not accepted in any of the other folders.Note: Files transferred from the computer are stored in your phone’s memory. You can transferthem from the phone’s memory to a microSD card if necessary.Transferring Files via microSD CardYou can directly transfer music and other files between your PC and amicroSD memory card.1. Remove the microSD card from your phone (see “Removing a microSDCard” on page 15) and insert it into your PC’s microSD card reader or,if you are using an SD card reader, first insert the microSD card into amicroSD adapter (see “Using the microSD Adapter” on page 15) theninsert the adapter into the SD card reader.2. Open My Computer on the PC. The list of contents will include a“Removable Disk” with the name of the microSD card.3. Double click the disk icon to view the contents of the card. You candrag and drop files between the computer and the folders on the card.
