If the Mute keys option is selected, yourphone does not transmit the key tones. It allowsyou to press keys without hearing annoying keytones during a call.Note: To communicate with answering machines orcomputerized telephony systems, the Sendtones option must be selected.Searching for a Number in thePhonebookYou can search for a number in the phonebookduring a call.1. Press the Options soft key.2. Press the key to highlight the Phonebookoption.3. Press the OK soft key.The phonebook entries are listed.4. Enter the name that you wish to find.If you enter the first few letter of the name, thephonebook entries are listed, starting with thefirst entry matching your input. The entry is alsohighlighted.5.
