When youtravel abroad, you must remember to change to anappropriate band. Proceed as follows.1. When Band Selection is displayed, press theSelect soft key.2. Press the or key until the appropriateoption, GSM 900/1800 or GSM 1900, ishighlighted and press the OK soft key.When you select a new band, your phone displays aconfirmation message and then automaticallysearches for all the available networks. Your phonethen registers with a preferred network within theselected band.
