Changes may affect theperformance of location-based technology on yourmobile device.Certain Samsung mobile devices can also use anAssisted Global Positioning System (AGPS), whichobtains information from the cellular network toimprove GPS performance. AGPS uses your wirelessservice provider's network and therefore airtime,data charges, and/or additional charges may apply inaccordance with your service plan. Mobile devices which are connectedto a wireless network transmit location-basedinformation. The location-based information may beshared with third-parties, including your wirelessservice provider, applications providers, Samsung,and other third-parties providing services.Use of AGPS in Emergency CallsWhen you make an emergency call, the cellularnetwork may activate AGPS technology in yourmobile device to tell the emergency responders yourapproximate location.AGPS has limitations and might not work in your area.Therefore:• Always tell the emergency responder your location to thebest of your ability; and• Remain on the mobile device for as long as theemergency responder instructs you.NavigationMaps, directions, and other navigation data maycontain inaccurate or incomplete data, andcircumstances can and do change over time. In someareas, complete information may not be available.Therefore, you should always visually confirm that thenavigational instructions are consistent with what yousee before following them. All users should payattention to road conditions, closures, traffic, and allother factors that may impact safe driving or walking.Always obey posted road signs.Emergency CallsThis mobile device, like any wireless mobile device,operates using radio signals, wireless and landlinenetworks, as well as user-programmed functions,which cannot guarantee connection in all conditions,areas, or circumstances.
