Menu functions Network services (Menu 3)29Network selection (Menu 3.4)This network service allows you to select the networkused when roaming outside of your home area, or letthe network to be chosen automatically.You can select a network other than your homenetwork only if there is a valid roaming agreementbetween the two.Caller ID (Menu 3.5)This network service allows you to hide your phonenumber from the person you are calling. If you selectDefault, the phone will use the default settingprovided by the network.Closed user group (Menu 3.6)Use this menu to set incoming and outgoing calls to berestricted to a selected user group. For details abouthow to create a closed user group, contact yourservice provider.• Index list: list, add, or delete CUG indexnumbers. Press <Options> to access the optionsfor setting up an index list.• Outside access: enable calls to numbers otherthan those in the Closed user group. This featuredepends on the nature of your CUG subscription.• Default group: enable the default CUG, if youhave set one with your service provider. Whenmaking a call, you are given the option of usingyour default CUG, instead of selecting one from thelist.Some networks do not allow the user to change thissetting.
