52Menu functionsPhonebook (Menu 8)You can store phone numbers on your SIM card and inyour phone’s memory. The SIM card and phone’smemory are physically separate, but they are used asa single entity called Phonebook.To access this menu, press <Menu> and selectPhonebook, or press <Phonebook> in Idle mode.Search (Menu 8.1)Use this menu to search for numbers in Phonebook.Finding an entry1. Enter the first few letters of the name that youwant to find.2. Select a name from the list.3. Scroll to a number and press [ ] to dial, or press<Options> to access Phonebook options.Using Phonebook optionsAfter selecting a Phonebook entry, press <Options>to access the following options:• Paste: paste the selected number into the diallingscreen.• Edit: edit the name and/or number or e-mailaddress of the entry.• Delete: delete the selected number or addressfrom the entry.• Copy: copy the selected number to the phone’smemory or to the SIM card.• Caller group: assign the selected number to acaller group.• Add entry: add a new number or e-mail addressto the entry.
