When you select Automatic, the phoneswitches the encoding type from GSM-Alphabet toUni-Code if you enter a Unicode character.Use of Unicode encoding will reduce the maximumnumber of characters in a message to about half. Ifthis menu is not shown, your phone providesautomatic character encoding by default.Bearer selection: select either GSM or GPRSpreferred, depending on your network.• Receiving options: activate 3D vivid view modefor displaying received SMS messages on yourphone. The phone will convert message text to 3Dvivid graphics and displays it in 3D view mode.This option is available only when the messageconsists of a single page.• Block list: store the phone numbers from whichyou want to reject messages.• Current profile: check or select an SMS settingprofile.• Profile settings: set the properties of eachprofile:Service centre: store or change the number ofyour SMS server.
