87Menu functions Settings (Menu 9)Call barring (Menu 9.6.2)This network service allows you to restrict your calls.1. Select a call barring option:• All outgoing calls: prohibit all outgoing calls.• International: prohibit international calls.• International except home: only allow callsto numbers within the current country whenyou are abroad, and to your home service area.• All incoming calls: prohibit incoming calls.• Incoming while abroad: prohibit incomingcalls when you use your phone outside of yourhome service area.• Cancel all: cancel all call barring settings,allowing calls to be sent and received normally.• Change barring password: change the callbarring password obtained from your serviceprovider.2. Select the type of calls to be barred.3. Select Activate. To deactivate call barring, selectDeactivate.4. Enter the call barring password supplied by yourservice provider and press <Select>.Call waiting (Menu 9.6.3)This network service informs you when someone istrying to reach you while you are on another call.1. Select the type of calls to which call waiting optionwill apply.2. Select Activate. To deactivate call waiting, selectDeactivate.Network selection (Menu 9.6.4)This network service allows you to manually select thenetwork to be used while roaming outside of yourhome area, or to let the network be chosenautomatically.You can select a network other than your homenetwork only if there is a valid roaming agreementbetween the two.
