Consult themanufacturer to discuss alternatives.PacemakersPacemaker manufacturers recommend that aminimum distance of 15 cm (6 inches) bemaintained between a wireless phone and apacemaker to avoid potential interference with thepacemaker.These recommendations are consistent with theindependent research and recommendations ofWireless Technology Research.Persons with pacemakers:• should always keep the phone more than 15 cm(6 inches) from their pacemaker when the phoneis switched on.• should not carry the phone in a breast pocket.• should use the ear opposite the pacemaker tominimize potential interference.If you have any reason to suspect that interferenceis taking place, switch your phone off immediately.Hearing AidsSome digital wireless phones may interfere withsome hearing aids.
