Call Functions 27Method 5 — Using the Voice Command1. Press and hold the MEdia Net key ( ) to activate VoiceCommand. After the phone beeps, say the command Call followed bythe name of a Contacts entry, or say the command Dialfollowed by a phone number.Making an International Call1. Press and hold to insert a + character at the start ofthe international number. (The + character is automaticallyreplaced with the International Dialing Code when youpress .)2. Enter the country code and phone number you wish to dial.3. Press .Answering a CallMake sure the phone is turned on. When you receive an incomingcall, the Phone-Incoming screen displays. Press the Answer soft key or press to answer the call. Press the Ignore soft key or press to send the call tovoicemail.Note: When you receive a call, you can silence the ringer by pressing thevolume key on the side of your phone.Using the SpeakerphoneDuring an active call, the speakerphone allows you to speak toothers without the need to hold the phone to your ear.1. While in a call, press and hold to activate thespeakerphone. The speakerphone icon then displaysat the top of the screen.2. To deactivate the speakerphone, press and holdagain.Displaying Your Phone Number1. From the Today screen, press the Start key ( ) toactivate the Start menu.2.
