Theyare physically separate but are used as a single entity, called Phonebook. Also, numbers that have beenstored on your SIM card can be copied to your phone’s memory.Depending on your particular SIM card, the maximum number of phone numbers the SIM card can storemay differ.Note: When you copy a phone number from your SIM card to your phone, the number will appear twice in yourcontact list.Changing the Default Saving LocationThe default for saving phone numbers to your phonebook is your phone’s memory. You can also save itto your SIM card or you can set your default so that whenever a new phonebook entry is createdTo change the default memory location, do as follows:1. At the Idle screen, press the Ph.book soft key.2. Highlight Management and press the Select soft key or the key.3. Highlight Default saving and press the Select soft key or the key.
