84Using AlarmThe Alarm application allows you to:• set up to three alarms to ring at specified times.• set the phone to switch on automatically and ring the alarm even if the phone is switched off.The following options are available:• Wake up call: the alarm rings to wake you up in the morning.• Alarm1/2: the alarm rings at the specified time and date. You can set the day, time, and tonefor this alarm.• Auto power: alarms ring at the specified time even if the phone is turned off. If the option isset to Off and the phone is switched off at the specified time, the alarm does not ring.Setting an Alarm1. In Idle mode, press the Menu soft key to access Menu mode.2. Using the Navigation keys, scroll to Applications. Press the Select soft key or the key toenter the menu.3. Highlight Alarm and press the Select soft key or the key.4. Highlight the Alarm option and press the Right Navigation key to set to On.5. Press the Down Navigation key to highlight the Alarm time option. Enter the time for thealarm to sound.Note: Your phone is preset to a 12-hour format. To change the time format, see "Time & Date Settings"on page 66.6. Press the Down Navigation key to highlight AM/PM. Press the Left or Right Navigation keyto set to AM or PM.7. Press the Down Navigation key to highlight Repeat. Press the Left or Right Navigation key toselect a repeat option.8. Press the Down key to highlight Alarm tone. Press the key to bring up a list of alarm tonelocations.9. Press the Up or Down Navigation key to highlight My sounds or Default sounds. Press theSelect soft key or the key. |
