In Idle mode, press the Menu soft key to access Menumode.2. Select Settings and highlight Phone Settings. Press theSelect soft key or the key.3. Select a menu and then change the setting. If the menuhas submenus, repeat as necessary.4. When you have finished, press the keyLanguageFrom this menu, you can choose which language your phone uses fordisplay and text input. The following menu options are available:• Text Language: selects the language used to display menutitles and phone options on screen.• Input Mode: selects the language used by the T9 dictionarywhen entering text. For more information, see "Using T9 Mode"on page 32.For both the Text Language and Input Mode menus, the followingoptions are available: Automatic, English, or Français. When thelanguage option is set to Automatic (the default option), the languageis automatically selected according to the language used on your SIMcard.
