Settings 119Security Settings SettingsOnce you have entered a new PIN, you are asked to confirm it byentering it again.Phone LockWhen the Phone Lock feature is enabled, the phone is locked and youmust enter the 4- to 8-digit phone password each time the phone isswitched on.Once the correct password has been entered, you can use the phoneuntil you switch it off. The following options are available:• Disable: you are not asked to enter the phone password whenyou switch on the phone.• Enable: you are required to enter the phone password when youswitch on the phone.Change PasswordThe Change Password feature allows you to change your currentphone password to a new one. You must enter the current passwordbefore you can specify a new one.PrivacyUsing this menu, you can lock your Media contents, such as picturemessages, Voice messages, Voice list, images, and sounds. Onceyou have locked the contents, you must enter the phone’s passwordto access the associated menus.1. To select an item to lock, press the Up or Down key. Tolock all of the contents, select All.• To place a check mark, press the key.• To remove a check mark, press the key.2. To lock the marked items, press the OK soft key. When thephone asks for the password, enter the password andpress the OK soft key or the key.
