Thissection will help you learn the basics of using your PCS Visionservices, including managing your User Name, launching aVision connection, and navigating the Web with your Vision-enabled PCS Phone.Your User NameWhen you buy a Vision-enabled PCS Phone and sign up forservice, you're automatically assigned a User Name. Then, whenyou use PCS Vision services, your User Name is submitted toidentify you to the enhanced Sprint Nationwide PCS Network.The User Name is also useful as an address for PCS Mail, as a wayto personalize Web services, and as an online virtual identity.A User Name is typically based on the customer's name and anumber, followed by "@sprintpcs.com." For example, the thirdJohn Smith to sign up for PCS Vision services might havejsmith003@sprintpcs.com as his User Name. If you want a particularUser Name, you can visit www.sprintpcs.com and get the nameyou want – as long as nobody else has it.Note: If you already have a PCS Mail User Name, that will automaticallybecome your PCS Vision User Name.Your User Name will be automatically programmed into yourPCS Phone. You don't have to enter it.Finding Your User NameIf you aren't sure what your PCS Vision User Name is, you caneasily find it online or on your PCS Phone: At www.sprintpcs.com: Log on to your account using yourPCS Phone Number and password. Your User Name appearsin the top banner, next to your phone number. On your PCS Phone: Your User Name may appear on yourphone's display screen in standby mode. You can also find itunder the Phone Info option in your phone's main menu.
