Your Samsungphone can store two NAMs. This means you canhave two phone numbers on your phone, and youcan quickly and easily switch your service backand forth between the two numbers.Select NAM 1 or NAM 2. If you change the NAM,the phone will reboot and acquire service usingthe new NAM setting.Set System (Menu 7-7)The system selection feature of your phoneenables you to choose how your phone will roam.Roaming is a feature which is only relevant inareas where there are usually at least two cellularservice providers which are referred to as “A” and“B” and have valid roaming agreements. Yourservice provider will provide you informationabout this service or the best roaming methods foryou.The following options are available:Home Only: with this setting, you cannot roam.If your home system is not available then your callwill not be connected and the No Service icon( ) is displayed. In some service areas anoperator may come on line asking you how youwould like to pay for the call.Standard: this option allows you to provide thebest system automatically.
