We suggest that you read this user guide tounderstand the services which your phone supports.Turning your phone on1. Fully extend the antenna for clearest reception.2. Press and hold for two seconds. The LED indicatorlights and a power-up alert sounds. The name of yourservice provider momentarily appears in the display.Note: Your phone has a built-in antenna. As with any otherradio-transmitting device, do not touch the antennaas it affects call quality and can cause the phone tooperate at a higher power level than is necessary.3. The phone begins searching for a signal. When a signalis found, the date, day, and time appear in the display.Your phone is now ready to place and receive calls.• If the phone is outside of your carrier’s coverage orroaming area you cannot place or receive calls. Try againlater when service becomes available.Turning your phone off• Press and hold for more than two seconds.Note: Your phone will not power off if you press forless than one second.
