52 Section 2A: Phone BasicsDialing OptionsAfter entering numbers within standby mode, select Options( ) to see the following dialing options:To initiate an option, highlight it and press . (1) Dial: Allows you to dial the number. (2) Save: Enter a seven- or ten-digitnumber (area code and phonenumber) and press Options ( ) >Save to save the phone numberin your Contacts.(See “Saving a Phone Number” onpage 58.) (3) Find: Enter a digit or string of digits and press Options(right softkey). Select Find to display Contacts entries thatcontain the entered numbers. (See “Finding a PhoneNumber” on page 60.) (4) Hard Pause allows you to enter a hard pause (the phonewaits for user input). To continue dialing, you must pressa key. (See “Dialing and Saving Phone Numbers WithPauses” on page 61.) (5) 2sec Pause allows you to enter a two-second pause. Thephone will pause, then continue dialing without anyadditional keys being pressed.
