English Englis_ English _11INTRODUCTION ON SAMS PROFEATURESSAMS Pro application program performs data communication to the controller (via serial or TCP/IP) and variousfunctions based on received data. By integrating devices and application program, it provides higher security throughaccess controlling where it is required, and also provides additional features with various applications.SAMS Pro consists of 3 program modules. They are access control management console SAMS Pro, dedicatedcommunication module SAMS Communication Server Pro and Microsoft SQL Server 2005 as the database storage.SAMS Pro supports the latest UI (User Interface). It also provides plentiful tooltips which enables easier and comfortableadaptation of the software. Device Setting Wizard and quick view of properties enable users with easier and fasterinstallation and configuration of the products.SAMS Pro provides various functions for access control. It provides door monitoring, access event monitoring and log ofprogram manipulation history for later reference for possible fabrication. Additionally, it provides simple attendancemonitoring (for regular office works) which enables users with attendance management based on access information.SAMS PRO has integrated access control system with the DVR via the network, which enables you to play the DVR videorecorded on the same time and date when the ordinary or alarm events occurred in the access control system. Namely, itsynchronizes the text-based access history with the video information to provide an enhanced security system.Integration of access control with video (DVR) analysisSupports a large lineup of DVR models manufactured by Samsung Techwin. It also maps access control points forspecific areas (entrance, input, reader, etc) with the camera, synchronizing a text-based access history with videoinformation before being played. Furthermore, you can monitor the live video.Multi-site Control and Communication ServerSupports controlling multiple sites. When communication servers are installed on each site, you can connect tomultiple sites simultaneously or a single site at a time. You can distribute the load to multiple communication serversinstalled in one site if there are lots of controllers, for better performance.Multilingual SupportSupports multilingual interface based on unicode. You can set to 10 languages other than pre-installed Korean andEnglish. By using built-in interface converter of SAMS Pro, you can select and convert to the desired language.Multi-ID ManagementAccess control accepts various information of users. Photograph and vehicle information can be added for auser. It supports managing multiple IDs for one user.Graphic MapYou can set the graphic floor plan for corresponding building’s floor based on the area and fl oor information. Youcan add and position doors, readers, I/O points at your preference. Depending configured options, the graphicmap appears on events to visually notify the administrator with current event generations. By placing variousfi gures and images on a map, you can setup an intuitive visual monitoring screen.Event Notifi cation & AcknowledgementAdministrator who is responsible for managing alerts can confirm and acknowledge events.Alarm events are released with alarm indication only when an administrator acknowledges, and can be viewed in reports.Font Coloring for EventsAccording to event types, administrator can set different colors to events according to their types. Event coloringenables better recognition and distinguishing events while monitoring.
