English - 8ADDITIONAL TIPS FORPROPER USAGE• In the event of a power failure, call the localoffice of your Electricity Company and ask howlong it is going to last.- Most power failures that are corrected in anhour or two will not affect your refrigeratortemperatures. However, you should minimizethe number of door openings while the poweris off.- Should the power failure last more than 24hours, remove and discard all frozen food.• If a key is provided with refrigerator, the keysshould be kept out of the reach of children andnot be kept in the vicinity of the appliance.• The appliance might not operate consistently(frozen contents can thaw or temperaturescan become too warm in the frozen foodcompartment) when sited for an extendedperiod of time in a location where ambientair temperatures are constantly below thetemperatures for which the appliance isdesigned.• Do not store food which goes bad easily at lowtemperature, such as bananas and melons.• Your appliance is frost free, which means thereis no need to manually defrost your appliance.This will be carried out automatically.• Temperature rise during defrosting complieswith ISO requirements.But If you want to prevent an undue rise in thetemperature of frozen food while the appliancedefrosts, wrap the frozen food in several layersof newspaper.• Any increase in the temperature of frozen foodduring defrosting can shorten its storage life.• Do not re-freeze frozen foods that have thawedcompletely.Saving Energy Tips- Install the appliance in a cool, dry room withadequate ventilation.Ensure that it is not exposed to direct sunlightand never put it near a direct source of heat (aradiator, for example).- Never block any vents or grilles on theappliance.- Allow warm food to cool down before placing itin the appliance.- Put frozen food in the refrigerator to thaw.You can then use the low temperatures of thefrozen products to cool food in the refrigerator.- Do not keep the door of the appliance open fortoo long when putting food in or taking foodout.The shorter the time the door is open, the lessfrost build-up you’ll have in the freezer.- Provide sufficient clearance to the right, left,back, and top for air circulation when installingthe refrigerator.
