maintaining your washer _23CLEANING THE DEBRIS FILTERWe recommend cleaning the debris fi lter when water does not drain well or the “nd” error message is displayed.1. Open the fi lter cover by pressing and pulling the handle of thefi lter cover with your fi nger.2. Holding the drain cap, pull the drain tube thatis hooked on the guide hook to the front.Donot pull the drain tube with excessive force.3. Place a bowl under the washing machineto catch any remaining water. Then, holdthe drain tube with one hand, and turn theemergency drain cap counter clockwise withthe other hand to separate it from the draintube.4. Drain the remaining water completely.5. Pull out the debris cap and debris fi lter assembly.6. Wash any dirt or other material from thedebris fi lter. Make sure the drain pumppropeller behind the debris fi lter is notblocked.7. When you have fi nished cleaning the fi lter, insert the debriscap and fi lter assembly back into the washer. Turn thedebris fi lter cap clockwise until the indicator on the debrisfi lter cap is in the 12 o’clock position, pointing to theindicator on the washer.8. Re-attach the emergency drain cap to the drain tube, andthen hook the tube to the hook guide.9.
