8_ Installing your washerBASIC LOCATION REQUIREMENTSElectrical• 120 Volt 60 Hz 15 AMP fuse or circuit breaker• Individual branch circuit serving only your Washer is recommended.• Your Washer is equipped with a power cord.NEVER USE AN EXTENSION CORD.GroundingELECTRICAL GROUNDING IS REQUIRED FOR THIS APPLIANCE.This appliance must be grounded. In the event of malfunction or breakdown, grounding willreduce the risk of electric shock by providing a path of least resistance for electric current.This appliance is equipped with a power cord having a three-prong grounding plug for use in aproperly installed and grounded three-prong outlet.An improperly connected equipment-grounding conductor can increase the risk of electricalshock. Check with a qualifi ed electrician or serviceman if you are not sure whether theappliance is properly grounded.
