59Antitheft Alarm FunctionCAUTION:WHEN YOU HAVE CHANGED THE PIN CODE, WRITE DOWNTHE NEW PIN CODE IN COLUMN OF THE PIN CODE NO. MEMOON PAGE 78, AND KEEP IT SECURELY. IF YOU FORGET YOURPIN CODE, SOME SETTINGS OF THE ANTITHEFT ALARMFUNCTION CAN NO LONGER BE CHANGED.Change the PIN codePress the F button and enter the four-digit PIN codenumber within about 10 seconds. The ALARM indicatorblinks red for a few seconds and a high-pitchedconfirmation sound is produced.Other settingsReset the settingsSelect “Factory default” in the Setting menu to reset thesettings for the Antitheft alarm function.12 While the indicator is blinking, enter a new PIN code,then you will hear a high-pitched confirmation soundand the ALARM indicator is turned off.When you enter an incorrect PIN code, you will hear alow-pitched sound. If you enter incorrect PIN codethree times in a row, the alarm will start ringing.The PIN code for the Antitheft alarm function is acombination of 1, 2, or 3. Use the buttons 1, 2, and 3 toenter the PIN code. The default PIN code is “1111.”✔Note:•This is effective only when the Antitheft alarm setting is released.The Alarm operating configuration can be changed whenthe Antitheft alarm function is set to “Off.” See page 58 forsetting or releasing this function.Press the SELECT button at Alarm icon in the Setting Menuto display the Alarm setting dialog box.
