EN-26Protecting ImagesSet the data to read-only to prevent images from being erased by mistake.1. Set the camera mode to [x].2. Select the image that you want to protect withthe e / f buttons.3. Press the MENU button.4. Select [Protect] with the c / d buttons, andpress the SET/DISPLAY button.5. Select [Single] or [All] with the c / d buttons,and press the SET/DISPLAY button.6. Select [Set] with the c / d buttons, and pressthe SET/DISPLAY button. Protection is applied to the image and thecamera returns to the previous menu mode. The protect icon [y] is displayed withprotected images.When [All] has been selected, [y] is displayedwith all the images.Canceling the ProtectionTo cancel protection for only one image, displaythe image on which you want to remove the imageprotection.1. Select [Protect] with the c / d buttons from theplayback menu, and press the SET/DISPLAYbutton.2. Select [Single] or [All] with the c / d buttons,and press the SET/DISPLAY button.3. Press the SET/DISPLAY button. Protection and cancellation of the protection are executed and the camerareturns to playback mode.
