24 EnglishInstallationWiring External SpeakerSome T2000II models are fitted with internal speakers.However it is possible to fit an external speaker ifrequired, by terminating a twin wire in the powerconnector. To disable the internal speaker, cut the linkon the power connector as shown in Figure 8.T2000II models with no internal speaker must have anexternal speaker fitted. The power connector comespre-wired with the speaker cable.Figure 8: Power Connector WiringMount the external speaker in a convenient locationclose to the operator. Run the free end of the speakerwire to the speaker, and connect it to the speaker plug.Power Cable1 Disconnect the vehicle’s battery unless specificallyprohibited from doing so by the customer, vehiclemanufacturer, agent or supplier.
