TM8260 Installation and Programming Guide Programming a Dual-Radio System 45© Tait Limited October 20144.7 TroubleshootingIf reporting the configuration shows only two devices when three areexpected, or the Select Device(s) dialog does not appear when reading orprogramming the radio system:■ Make sure all cables are connected correctly, and securely.■ Make sure power is applied to both radio bodies.■ One or more devices may not have the correct system configuration tableof NTIDs. Re-download the table to all devices in the system. See“Downloading Configurations” on page 17.If a “Duplicate NTIDs” message appears on the radio display, you mustuninstall the radio to a single-head single-body system and use theprogramming application’s multiple device configuration utility to changethe NTIDs (click Tools > Download and then Device Configuration >Advanced). For more information, see “Downloading Configurations” onpage 17.If an “incorrect band” message appears when attempting to program a radiobody, the band of the selected device to program is different to the bandselected in the programming application. Either change the Band field onthe Specifications form, or select the matching radio body in the SelectDevice(s) dialog.If an “unlicensed feature” message appears in the programming application,or the LEDs on one or both radio bodies flash on and off when poweringup the system, optional features (for example, Multi-Body Support) may notbe enabled.
