TASCAM 302MKII 13A maximum of ten compatible units (TASCAM 322 or302MkII) can be interconnected to provide thefollowing possibilities :“ Sequential link play of multiple cassettes.“ Dubbing onto multipie cassettes simultaneously.“ Recording an external source onto multiplecassettes simultaneously.WARNING : Make all conncctions with power off.Each time one cassette plays up to the end of thereverse tape side, the next cassette will start.1. Check to see that all the units are turned off.2. Refer to the diagram above, and connect the firstunits EXT CONTROL OUT to the second unitsEXT CONTROL IN, the second units EXTC O N T RO L O U T t o t h e t h i r d u n i t s E X TCONTROL IN, and so on. Finally, connect the lastunits EXT CONTROL OUT to the first units EXTCONTROL IN.3. Switch on power to all the units.4. Make the following switch settings on each unit :“ OFF/SLV/MSTR switch to OFF ;“ REV MODE switch to CONT.5. Insert pre-recorded tapes into decks 1 and 2 ofevery unit.6. To start sequential link play, press PLAY on eitherdeck of any unit.7. To stop play, press STOP on the deck which iscurrently in play.NOTEIf there is a slave unit which has no tape inserted,sequential link play will stop when this slave isdetected.Sequential Link PlayMultiple-Unit System Operation
