Replaceonly with the same or equivalent type.Cautions about rechargeable batteriesThis product uses rechargeable batteries. Misuse ofbatteries could cause a leak, rupture or other trouble.Always abide by the following precautions when usingbatteries.• If a rechargeable battery leaks, do not touch theleaking fluid with a bare hand. Please consult withTEAC Corporation if a battery fluid leak occurs.• Battery fluid in an eye could result in loss of vision. Iffluid enters an eye, wash the eye immediately withclean water. Do not rub the eye when washing.Consult a physician soon after washing. Battery fluidon the body or clothing could cause injuries or burnson the skin. Wash with clean water immediately andthen consult a physician.• Do not use any AC adaptor other than the modeldesignated for use with this unit. Always use thedesignated AC adaptor when operating the unitor recharging the battery with a household ACpower source. Use of an AC adaptor other thanthe designated one could lead to overheating andcause injury, burns, fires or stains, as well as batteryruptures and battery fluid leaks.• Do not put a battery into a fire or leave it or rechargeit near a fire, under the sun or in other hot conditions.• Do not disassemble a battery. Doing so could causeelectric shock. Please contact the shop where youbought the product or TEAC Corporation if you wantto have a battery inspected or repaired. When youwant to dispose of the product, please follow theinstruction in the Owner's Manual to remove thebatteries and recycle the equipment properly.CAUTIONS ABOUT BATTERIESThis product uses batteries. Misuse of batteries couldcause a leak, rupture or other trouble. Always abide bythe following precautions when using batteries.• Never recharge non-rechargeable batteries. Thebatteries could rupture or leak, causing fire or injury.• When installing batteries, pay attention tothe polarity indications (plus/minus (¥/^)orientation), and install them correctly in thebattery compartment as indicated. Putting them inbackward could make the batteries rupture or leak,causing fire, injury or stains around them.• When you store or dispose batteries, isolate theirterminals with insulation tape or something like thatto prevent them from contacting other batteries ormetallic objects.• When throwing used batteries away, follow thedisposal instructions indicated on the batteries andthe local disposal laws.• Do not use batteries other than those specified. Donot mix and use new and old batteries or differenttypes of batteries together. The batteries couldrupture or leak, causing fire, injury or stains aroundthem.• Do not carry or store batteries together with smallmetal objects. The batteries could short, causingleak, rupture or other trouble.• Do not heat or disassemble batteries. Do not putthem in fire or water. Batteries could rupture or leak,causing fire, injury or stains around them.• If the battery fluid leaks, wipe away any fluid onthe battery case before inserting new batteries. Ifthe battery fluid gets in an eye, it could cause lossof eyesight. If fluid does enter an eye, wash it outthoroughly with clean water without rubbing theeye and then consult a doctor immediately. If thefluid gets on a person’s body or clothing, it couldcause skin injuries or burns. If this should happen,wash it off with clean water and then consult adoctor immediately. |
