You can use these playback control functions foreffective practice and learning new parts.Changing the speedYou can use the SPEED function to set the playback speed.This unit has a Variable Speed Audition (VSA) function, soeven when playback speed is changed the pitch stays thesame.Press the SPEED button to show the SPEED setting area at thebottom of the Home Screen.Use the VALUE (+/–) buttons to set the playback speed.The speed can be set in a range between 50% (x0.5) and150% (x1.5) of the original speed in 10% increments (defaultvalue: “x1.0”).When the “SPEED” is set from x0.5–x0.9, the icon isshown, and when it is set from x1.1–x1.5, the icon isshown.Changing the keyYou can use the KEY function to change the pitch of playbackin semitone intervals (and the FINE TUNE function to change itin cents) without changing the speed.Press the KEY button to show the KEY setting area at thebottom of the Home Screen on the display. Press the KEYbutton again to show the FINE TUNE setting area.KEY can be set in a range of ±6 semitones (â6–ã6). (The defaultvalue is “0”.)
