You can also program your channelmemories or re-program your 10 custom search bank memories.Before the scanner can begin scanning, you must program afrequency into at least one channel.1. To select a channel, press Hold then enter the channelnumber (1-500).2. Press Pgm/E to enter the Channel menu. (You can alsopress Hold and scroll to the channel; press Func thenPgm/E.)Note 1: Turning SCROll CONTROl in Function mode willallow you to select the first channel in each bank.Note 2: You can quickly store frequencies in Scan Hold modeby entering the frequency and pressing Pgm/E.3. Scroll to highlight Enter Frequency and press Pgm/E. Youwill see the channel number and currently programmedfrequency. (To return to the previous screen, press Clr.)4. Use number keys and Clr for a decimal to enter thefrequency. If you make a mistake, press Clr to clear thedisplay. Press Pgm/E to store the frequency and return tothe Channel menu.
