This is normal and can befixed by changing the batteries.If you can’t hear the low battery warning, yourhearing healthcare professional can change itspitch or loudness. If you prefer, it can be turnedoff entirely.Your hearing aids are designed to generate alow battery warning every 30 minutes until youchange the batteries, but depending on thecondition of the batteries, they may die beforeanother low battery warning occurs. Therefore,it is recommended that the batteries arereplaced as soon as possible once you hear thelow battery warning.Replacing the battery1. Gently swing out the batterydoor with your fingernail.2. Push the battery with yourthumb and index fingertowards the open side, andremove or pull the batterystraight out, depending on yourstyle of hearing aid.3. Insert the new battery into thebattery compartment with theplus (+) sign on the batteryfacing the same way as thebattery indicator on the batterydoor. This will ensure that thebattery door closes properly.Note: If the battery is insertedincorrectly, the hearing aid willnot turn on.4.
