40 41Operating instructionsYour hearing aids may come with two controlsthat allow you to further adjust them – a rotarydial and a push button.Rotary dial - volume controlThe rotary dial on your hearing aids canbe set up as a volume control. If therotary dial has been configured as avolume control:• Rotate dial slowly forward towards your noseto increase the volume.• Rotate the dial slowly backward away fromyour nose to decrease the volume.As you change the volume level, your hearingaids will beep.Volume setting BeepsSuggested volume level 1 beepTurning volume up short beepTurning volume down short beepMaximum volume level 2 beepsMinimum volume level 2 beepsPush button - program controlYour hearing aids may be equippedwith a push button which can be usedto switch between programs.If the push button has been configured as aprogram control, each time you push the button,you will move to a new hearing aid program.Your hearing aids beep to indicate whichprogram you are in.Program 1 (e.g. AutoMic) 1 beepProgram 2 (e.g. speech in noise) 2 beepsProgram 3 (e.g. telephone) 3 beepsProgram 4 (e.g. music) 4 beepsPlease see the front of this booklet for a listingof your personalized programs.
