10 11Putting your BTE hearing aids on yourearsYour hearing aids may be color-coded with asmall dot on the battery door: red = right ear;blue = left ear.Hearing aids with earmolds1. Hold the earmold betweenyour thumb and indexfinger. The opening shouldbe pointing in towardsyour ear canal withthe hearing aid restingupwards above your ear.2.
