Using the black cleaning pinprovided in the kit, gentlyinsert the cleaning pin wherethe slim tube attaches to thehearing aid and push the pinall the way through the tube.Note: The slim tubes and domes should neverbe rinsed or submerged in water as water dropsmay become lodged in the tube, block soundor damage the electrical components of thehearing aid.6. Once the slim tube has been cleaned,reattach it by gently turning the hearing aidonto the slim tube.7. Reattach the dome to the slim tube by gentlypushing it back onto the threading at theend of the tube. You will feel the dome clickonto the ridges of the slim tube, and youwon’t be able to push it any further.Cleaning your slim tubes and domesYou should have the slim tubesand domes replaced by yourhearing healthcare professionalapproximately every three to sixmonths or when they become stiff, brittle, ordiscolored.Clean the outside of the domes at the end ofeach day with a damp cloth. Avoid getting anywater in and around the hearing aids.You should also clean the slim tubesperiodically, with the cleaning pin provided,when you begin to notice debris in and aroundthe tubes.1. Hold the slim tube in one hand and thehearing aid in the other hand.2. Gently turn the hearing aid until it detachesfrom the slim tube.3. Use a damp cloth to clean the outside of theslim tube and dome.4. Remove the dome from the slim tube bypulling gently, before cleaning the slim tube.
