The recommended types of circuit-breakers are shown in Table 24. If a circuit-breaker from another manufacturer is used, it must beequivalent to the circuit-breakers shown. Further information on the circuit-breakers shown isavailable from the manufacturer. Circuit-breakers do not provide same level of protection as fuses,therefore, fuses are always recommended to be used. A circuit-breaker can be used without a maincontactor. In this case, the Active Front End unit controls the circuit-breaker instead of thecontactor. The circuit-breakers shown are suitable for equipment rated at 380 V–500 V or 525 V–690V.Table 24.
