FAULT TRACINGWhen a fault is detected by the AC drive control electronics, the drive is stopped and the symbol Ftogether with the ordinal number of the fault, the fault code and a short fault description appear onthe display. The fault can be reset with theReset button on the control keypad or via the I/Oterminal. The faults are stored in the Fault history menu (M5) which can be browsed. The differentfault codes you will find in the table below. The fault codes, their causes and correcting actions are presented in the table below. The shadowedfaults are A faults only. The items written in white on black background present faults for which youcan program different responses in the application. See parameter group Protections.Note: When contacting distributor or factory because of a fault condition, always write down all textsand codes on the keypad display.FaultcodeFault Possible cause Correcting measures1 Overcurrent AC drive has detected too high a current(>4*IH) in the motor cable: sudden heavy load increase short circuit in motor cables unsuitable motorSubcode in T.14:S1 = Hardware tripS2 = ReservedS3 = Current controller supervisionCheck loading.Check motor.Check cables.Make identification run.2 Overvoltage The DC-link voltage has exceeded thelimits defined. too short a deceleration time high overvoltage spikes in supplySubcode in T.14:S1 = Hardware tripS2 = Overvoltage control supervisionMake deceleration time longer.
