It should be readily accessible andadjacent to the boiler. A 3 core flexible cord accordingto BS6500 tables 6, 8 or 16 (3 x 0.75 to 3 x 1.5 mm2 )should be used.Warning!This appliance must be earthed.Important!Ensure that all cords pass through the cableclamps in the rear of the control box and aresecurely fixed. Ensure that the power supply isconnected such that the current carryingconductors become taut before the earthconductor should the supply cord slip from thecable clamp.Warning!Mains connection terminals L and N remain liveeven when the boiler on/off control is switchedoff.5.15 Connection to the main supply• Lower the control panel.• Unclip the terminal box cover (1) from the controlpanel.• Feed the power supply cord in to the appliance asshown (fig 5.11).• Use cable clamps.
