Vehicle care 141Power electronics and chargermodules cooling system9 DangerThe power electronics andcharger modules coolant may onlybe serviced by a qualifiedtechnician.Improper handling could causeserious injuries or death.The power electronics and chargermodules are cooled using the samecoolant loop.The power electronics and chargermodules coolant reservoir is locatedon the front side of the enginecompartment.Check to see if coolant is visible in thepower electronics and chargermodules coolant reservoir. If coolantis visible but the coolant level is belowthe cold fill line, there could be a leakin the cooling system.If the coolant level is too low, seek theassistance of a workshop.Engine overheatingThe vehicle has an indicator to warnof engine overheating.If the decision is made not to lift thebonnet when this warning appears,get service help right away.If the decision is made to lift thebonnet, make sure the vehicle isparked on a level surface.Then check to see if the enginecooling fans are running. If the engineis overheating, the fans should berunning. If they are not, do notcontinue to run the vehicle and havethe vehicle serviced.Washer fluidAn error message will appear on theDriver Information Centre (DIC) whenthe fluid level is low.
