407 Set up with the display and adjustment moduleVEGABAR 82 • 4 … 20 mA/HART45030-EN-1407107.4 Parameter adjustmentThe main menu is divided into five sections with the following func-tions:Setup: Settings, e.g., for measurement loop name, application, units,position correction, adjustment, signal outputDisplay: Settings, e.g., for language, measured value display, lightingDiagnosis: Information, e.g. on instrument status, pointer, measure-ment reliability, simulationAdditional adjustments: PIN, date/time, reset, copy functionInfo: Instrument name, hardware and software version, date of manu-facture, sensor featuresNote:For optimum adjustment of the measuring point, the individual sub-menu items in the main menu item "Setup" should be selected oneafter the other and provided with the correct parameters. If possible,go through the items in the given sequence.The procedure is described below.The following submenu points are available:The submenu points described below.A parameter change with SIL qualified instruments must always becarried out as follows:• Unlock adjustment• Change parameters• Lock adjustment and verify modified parametersThis ensures that all modified parameters have been deliberatelychanged.Unlock adjustmentThe instrument is shipped in locked condition.To prevent unintentional or unauthorized adjustment, the instrumentis protected (locked) against all parameter changes while in normaloperating condition.For each parameter change you have to enter the PIN of the instru-ment. In delivery status, the PIN is "0000".Main menuOperating sequence withSIL
