INTRODUCTION AND OVERVIEWPage 1INTRODUCTION AND OVERVIEWThe Wacom® DTU-710 Interactive Pen Display combines an LCD monitor with a Wacom pen tablet.This gives you a direct point-and-draw-on-screen interface that can be used with a Personal Computer(PC) or Macintosh® computer.The basic components of the DTU-710 include a Wacom pen tablet internally mounted behind a 17.0"diagonal TFT color LCD monitor, and a cordless, battery-free Wacom pen.This combined manual for Windows and Macintosh users describes how to install the DTU-710hardware and software. It also describes how to use the DTU-710 and pen.Please follow allinstructions carefully. The information is common to both platforms and Windows screen capturesare shown, unless otherwise noted.Note that the computer treats the DTU-710 as two separate pieces of hardware (the LCD monitorand the pen tablet). Therefore, the installation process is completed in two stages:• First install the LCD monitor portion of the DTU-710.• Then install the DTU-710’s pen tablet functionality.Both stages require hardware and software installations and adjustments.Please follow allinstructions carefully.The following kinds of information are not included with this product: information about your specificcomputer hardware or operating system, or information about your application software.
