Clean and inspect the dethatcher thoroughly,noting any replacement parts that will be need-ed before the next season.2. Repaint all parts from which paint has worn.NOTE: Rustproofing or painting every year willprolong the life of the dethatcher.3. When the dethatcher is dry, apply oil to tines toprevent rust. Apply lubricant liberally to all ex-posed surfaces to protect against rust.4. Store dethatcher in a dry place.The Walker Lawn Dethatcher is nearly mainten-ance free. However, periodically grease will needto be added to the grease fittings on the casterwheel mounts and the pivot points shown in A10Lubrication Points Diagram will need to be oiled.Also inspect for broken/worn tines and replace asneeded.
